It was Hanan’s ambition, drive and desire to improve the lives of others that saw her excel in the field of Podiatry. She believes that every person has the right to stay active and continue to do the things they love across all walks of life, and enabling them to do so is an aspect of her career that she finds extremely rewarding.
Her commitment to delivering clinical excellence for all her patients has formed our foundation of using only the best in evidence-based protocols and gold-standard treatments here at the Auckland Ingrown Toenail Clinic. More than providing superior care, Hanan always keeps her patient’s goals, careers and daily activities in mind when discussing any treatment option.
Hanan’s ability to connect with and relate to people from a variety of cultures is one of the many things her patients enjoy and value about her. This stems from her diverse background; immigrating to New Zealand from Iran with her family at an early age and completing all her education here.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science specialising in Podiatry, Hanan has undertaken many postgraduate courses in the fields of sports medicine, rehabilitation and pain management. It was the regular appointments with patients who had been suffering for weeks with ingrown toenails and those who had been putting up with them on and off for years that grew her desire to be able to permanently put a stop to this painful problem and start a specialty clinic dedicated to the permanent relief of ingrown toenails.
Hanan’s greatest pride and joy are her two children, Cyrus and Arya, which she shares with her husband and podiatrist, Marty.
